What are Issue Reminders?

Issue reminders are a notification in the Jira header that will show you the amount of open and unassigned issues in service desk projects.

You can hover over the header notification to open a dropdown that will show you the exact amount of issue for each service desk projects. Note: Only project with one or more unresolved issues and without an assignee will be listed.

You can click on the individual reminders in this dropdown to get redirect to a list of the represented issues. Note: Redirection page can be changed by the administrator.

Which issues will an issue reminder be created for?

Only issues  that are unresolved (no resolution date has been set) and which have no assignee are used to create issue reminders.

The query used by Service Desk Issue Reminders to find these issues is the following:

assignee = EMPTY AND resolutiondate = EMPTY AND project = "{projectKey}"

Who'll see the issue reminders?
